2020 Recruiting Class Among the Top in the Nation (whether you believe it or not).

Jim Harbaugh and his Michigan coaching staff are wrapping things up for the 2020 recruiting class to mixed reviews. It's hard to argue against the talent they did acquire, but most detractors point to the lack of 5-Stars and the few big whiffs on top recruits to end the cycle. The simple fact of the matter is that it is another class by Harbaugh that ranks among the top 10% of college programs. In other words, with a 12th ranked rectuiting class, they were still better than 118 of the other 129 teams out there. Anyway I look at it, it still amazes me how people can be upset about it. Yes, it is true that they are not landing the big-time top-heavy classes that Ohio State, Alabama, and Clemson continue to land, but that is okay. It has to be okay because that's just not where the Wolverines are at right now. It is still a lot better than most though. And just ask Texas, UCLA, Tennessee, USC, and Nebraska fans how they would feel about the prospect of playing the Crimson Tide...

Unbelievable Journey Brings Big Ten Championship to Ann Arbor. So What Now?

To say the University of Michigan men's basketball team has had a roller coaster of a season is an understatement. They were an average team at best. I had even deemed them unwatchable and boring just two months ago. They hit a low point when they got punched in the mouth by arch rivals Michigan State and Ohio State in back to back games on January 29th and February 4th. At that point the Wolverines were at risk of being left out of March Madness altogether. As fans, many of us were already looking to next season as a crashing end to this year almost seemed inevitable. Ironically, nothing could've been further from the truth. The following game on February 7th brought rival Michigan State to Crisler Arena. It was the second matchup between the two schools in a nine-day span. A make a break game-type of situation that could've propelled a slide into 2017 obscurity. Nobody was optimistic. Not even the Michigan faithful. The State Line: Offensive Match Up with Sparty with Projections

Okay, let's not beat around the bush here. Michigan has one mission this week, and that is to completely destroy Sparty on the field. And by destroy, I mean that they have to obliterate the 25 point spread by another 20 points. Send a message to East Lansing and take full control of this rivalry once again. Harbaugh already has the 3-2 advantage. Going 4-2 with a true beat down would solidify the fact that things are indeed still heading in the right direction in Ann Arbor (but not so much in East Lansing).  So, without further adieu, let's set some goals for each positional group for this game... Quarterback: Joe Milton - I saw some early signs on Saturday that this is becoming Milton's team. Not only did he take command of the offense, but the senior players rallied around him and the entire team competed extremely hard.
