Recruiting Update: Top Five Prospects Most-likely to Go Blue!

1. Keisean Lucier-South, DE: Scout Grade: 88/100 (three or four year starter and contributor on day one) The five-star pass-rusher from So Cal appears to really like Michigan as well as some of the other guys currently committed to the program. He tweeted a shout-out to his "bros" Darrin Kirkland Jr. and Alex Malzone over the weekend, as both guys joined him and hundreds of other recruits at the Opening. Lucier-South's visit to Ann Arbor for the Penn State game on October 11th will likely be the final opportunity for the program to make a big impression on him.
2. Brian Cole, WR/CB/Athlete: Scout Grade: 83/100 (two or three year starter and immediate return specialist) The best prospect in the state of Michigan right now would be a huge addition to the Wolverines' roster. Whether he plays offense, defense, or special teams, Cole has the raw talent to become a great college football player. If he likes what he sees this weekend at the Barbecue at the Big House then I wouldn't be surprised to see a commitment from him soon. Originally, I thought the Spartans were in the lead for his services, and I wouldn't really change that quite yet, but I really like Michigan's chances going into this weekend's event.
UPDATE: Cole committed to the Wolverines on Satruday, as I was writing this piece.
3. Mike Weber, RB: Scout Grade: 81 (two or three year starter) Weber seems like a great fit and he was seen wearing a Michigan T-shirt at the Opening last week, but the Spartans once again are also in hot pursuit for his services. The opportunity is there for him to help turn one of the greatest college football programs of all-time in the right direction after several years of mediocrity.
4. Darian Roseboro, DL: Scout Grade: 80 (two or three year starter) Getting this kid would greatly make up for missing out on some of the better strong-side end prospects over the last couple years. Whether it's at end or tackle, he looks like starter-quality material. He too will be attending the BBQ at the Big House event this weekend is expected to make his decision a couple weeks later.
5. Tyrone Wheatley Jr., TE/DE:Scout Grade: 78 (two year starter or role-player) A solid four-star legacy prospect seems to fit the mold of what the coaches want at both TE and DE. His diversity is a huge plus and he will likely become a solid contributor for the team some day.
